Round 9 results (2026-10-14) #
Round-9 code on a preview with production's flags, a test signing key and the round-9 flags named per colony. All runs are labeled MEASURED; logs pass through node packages/bench/src/evidence.ts redact.

The key is published at /.well-known/firetrident-keys.json (its id the first 16 hex digits of the SHA-256 of the public key) and named by /api/about. One landing on a new public colony: the API's note check and ft verify say intact and signed; in a stock clone the commit ends with FT-Note-Signature then FT-Note; verify_note.mjs prints intact as before, and with --keys intact, signed by the key; the note edited in the clone reads altered; the commit and note rewritten together with a recomputed trailer read intact by digest and bad signature with the key. |
Export guard (checks/export_guard.log) |
With FT_EXPORT_GUARD naming the colony, removing foo from src/b.ts while src/a.ts imports it came back: "removing export foo from src/b.ts breaks the import in src/a.ts: change src/a.ts in the same change, or first"; the next take carried that reason; the same removal with src/a.ts edited landed. On a colony the flag does not name, the removal landed. |
Twin intents (checks/twins.log) |
With FT_TWINS naming the colony: over MCP, "Rate-limit the links API" over the same files as "Add rate limiting to /api/links" came back as the first (score 1) with a sentence saying what to do, and no intent was created; force: true created it; over REST a third wording answered 200 with duplicateOf, and 201 with force. On a colony the flag does not name, all three were created. |

The guard costs about 1 s of median waiting a landing here, where every change edits script files; review's longer tail in the first run is the decision models' latency, which none of the round-9 flags touch. |
